How does an Estate Sale "work"?- Basically, we will visit with you and provide a free evaluation, discussing the type of sale you would like to have, what your specific goals are for your sale, and any special circumstances you may be encountering.
Once an agreement has been made for sales dates, etc., our team will completely set-up & research pricing for your sale, including providing tables, etc. for displaying your items.
Here to Help Sales will post all ads, provide all signage & promotions, research and price your treasures, and fully run your sale. In return, Here to Help receives a small percentage of your total sale.
What happens to the items that don't sell?- It is the goal of Here to Help Sales to sell at least 75% of all items included in your sale. However, we know it is a concern about what will happen to items not sold during your sale. Here to Help Sales will take care of the items that do not sell, according to your wishes. The most popular option is to donate items to a non-profit organization of your choice so they may benefit those in need. A receipt will be provided to you so you may deduct your charitable contribution from your tax return.
Here to Help Sales provides full clean-up services and trash removal services as well (extra charges may apply, depending on the circumstance).
Do sales only take place in warmer weather?- Most Estate Sales are held indoors, allowing us to have sales even during cold-weather months. Some of our most successful sales have taken place with snow on the ground!
